Fish and seafood at Polagra-Food 2007 A-A + the European Union in the fish processing sector has already invested 460 million zł. Annually, this sector generates 4.3 billion zł market, of which 2.6 billion comes from export sales. Poland belongs to Europe's major suppliers of smoked salmon, herring and processed fillets of white fish (cod, flounder). Gradually, through economic growth and changes in culinary habits of Poles, fish consumption is also growing in the country. Fish products, however, are still underestimated by many consumers and are not concerned in the daily diet of Poles proper place.
